Award description

Empowering Women through Education, will be presented to an Indigenous Woman learner in any program at ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ who is an advocate for women's rights and has a passion for learning.

Criteria

Criteria

You must:

  • be currently registered as a student at ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ
  • have Indigenous (First Nations, MΓ©tis, Inuit, or Native American) ancestry
  • have aΒ GPAΒ of 2.5 or equivalent
  • complete the application form

Please submit a self-written letter outlining how you advocate for women’s rights and your passion for learning. Include a letter of reference from a community member or instructor attesting to your advocacy work and passion. You will be asked to attend an awards ceremony.
